What can AI automate in a small or mid-sized business?
Useful starting points include enquiry triage, document data entry, customer questions, employee knowledge search, proposal preparation and recurring reports. We look for frequent work with clear inputs, approved sources and a person who owns the result.
Do we need an AI strategy before building anything?
You need a clear problem and a sensible scope. A short discovery can identify the first workflow, assess the available data and tools, and define what success means. A company-wide transformation programme is not required to test one useful system.
How much does AI implementation cost?
Pricing depends on the workflow, integrations, data preparation, review requirements and support. After an initial fit conversation, we propose a defined scope and fee before work begins. Implementation, third-party subscriptions, model usage and ongoing support are separated so you can see the total commitment.
How long does a first project take?
As a planning guide, discovery may take 1 to 2 weeks and a focused build 4 to 8 weeks after scope and access are agreed. These are indicative ranges, not delivery promises. Data cleanup, integration limitations and security review can change the schedule.
Will our company information be private?
We agree on permitted data, users, providers, retention and deployment before connecting sources. Permissions, review controls and testing are part of the design. Canadian incorporation does not mean every provider stores data in Canada; residency requirements must be confirmed for the chosen architecture.
Can you improve the process before automating it?
Yes. We observe the current workflow, map decisions and exceptions, and remove unnecessary steps. The recommendation can be a simpler process, ordinary automation, an existing product, or a custom AI system.
